I just completed signing up for a Face Book account. I did a lot of searching and couldn't find a single friend from my high school, or any of the numerous colleges that I attended over the years. I checked for friends from previous work places too. I looked for childhood and highschool friends, authors that I like, and some musicians. I did find that my son has an account and I asked him to add me as a friend, as long as he doesn't have stuff on his profile that I'd rather not know about... I did find a site for James Patterson, but it wasn't actually his personal site. It was a site for fans and it was listed as a James Patterson audio books site.
I invited Gwen, my co-worker, to be a friend. At least we can always count on each other. We work together, IM, and now we can visit each other on Face Book.

I uploaded a photo of my avatar from Meese that I created as a teen contact with guidelines from Dawn.

I'm wondering why friends didn't come up under Sno-Isle Libraries with so many of us creating new Face Book accounts? I used to work at University Book Store and hundreds of people came up from all over the country, but no one that I recognized as being a former co-worker. Maybe it presented everyone in the country who had ever worked at a University Book Store and did not differentiate between the one in Seattle, vs. New Jersey...
